Londons Disused Railway Stations - The East End

£25.00

By J.E. Connor

When the author was growing up in Stepney Green during the 1950s and 1960s, he was fascinated by stations which appeared on an old street atlas but not on the current railway maps. There were very few publications dealing with such things at the time, and those that did have something gave the reader little information on individual stations.  In later years his fascination resulted in him founding the London Railway Record magazine and writing various books on the subject of disused stations around the capital. In this volume he looks at those within London’s East End and describes what, if anything, survives of them today.
