The final three and a half years of the London General Omnibus Company were ones of major developments. The first vehicles of large fleets of LT, T, STL and T types entered service and work progressed towards the setting up of the London Passenger Transport Board in 1933. The last years of the General were also the last years of the many independent bus operators who had been running on London’s streets since 1922. This exciting period is the subject of this well illustrated book.
